Meet Giampiero – Your Italian Cooking Teacher

Ciao! My name is Giampiero, born and raised in Turin, Italy.

For over 20 years I worked as a professional chef in Italian kitchens, from small trattorie to fine dining. Today, I teach at one of Italy’s top culinary schools, training the next generation of chefs.

With Cooking Italy at Home I want to bring you into the real Italian home kitchen: my grandmother’s recipes, the Sunday ragù, the focaccia we bake every summer by the sea.

This is not “chicken Alfredo” or “spaghetti with meatballs.”
This is how we actually cook every day in Italy – authentic, regional, simple, and joyful.
